Thankyou David. It's immensely gratifying to know that there are folk out there who take a look in The Book OF from time to time. Yes, I have been tweaking the presentation somewhat, as I was less than happy with my first choice of font (Lucida) and will, I think, now stick with the Courier for the body type. It seems altogether more workaday readable (thanks to the serifs?). You may recognise some of the locations in future postings that I've got lined up and which I'm always in the process of preparing. You'll also notice that I'm not using the blog as a diary... But I instead am allowing my thoughts to coalesce through considering the content of images and my recollections of having made them.
